Requirements for Texas Engineers

Licensed Engineers in Texas need 15 hours of continuing education annually.  Renewals are staggered quarterly: March 31st, June 30th, September 30th, and December 31st.  You may complete all of your hours in online courses. You may not carryover your ethics hour. The renewal date is based on the date of licensure. The first renewal period is due 9 months from the date of licensure; after that, they are annually.
