Ann D. Yakimovicz, CFM, is currently Training Manager, Operations, for First American Flood Data Services, a company of The First American Corporation which provides business information nationwide. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University with interests in online learning and continuing professional education.

She is active on the Board of the Texas Floodplain Management Association and serves on the Training Committee of ASFPM. She has taught workshops related to floodplain management at ASFPM conferences and state floodplain management conferences since 2002.

She taught online classes in assessment and evaluation for Capella University and wrote a chapter about online testing for IRHIM’s book, e-Learning: Expanding the Training Classroom through Technology.

Before coming to work at First American, Ann was Director of Learning Technology at Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corporation, where she led the rollout of enterprise-wide intranet training. She contributed a chapter on this experience to the 1998 book, Distance Training: How Innovative Organizations Are Using Technology to Maximize Learning and Meet Business Objectives.
