Sustainable Design & Green Buildings Level III Certificate

By completing the course hours required to earn the University of Tennessee Level III Certificate in Sustainable Design and Green Buildings you become one of a small and distinguished group who has acquired the theoretical and practical skills needed to lead in today's competitive environment.
Level III Certificate: Recognizes students who sucessfully complete the Level I Certificate plus 47 hours of either:
- a) Level II Certificate courses
- b) Approved individual courses
- c) A combination of Level II Certificate courses and approved individual courses
The Level I Certificate is developed to deepen your knowledge of the LEED measurement system, broaden your sustainable design skills, start you thinking about green strategies, and put you on the path to integral thinking. It is made up of 10 courses for 25 hours.
The Level II Certificate program focuses on specific subjects within sustainable development. Students can pick and choose from a variety of smaller certificates that provide a deeper knowledge within the following areas: Awareness & Culture, Indoor Environmental Quality, Materials & Resources, Sustainable Sites and Water Efficiency.
