As a Florida Certified Contractor, the licensing board requires that you fulfill a specific number of course hours on certain topics.

Advanced Building Code (ADV) – 1 hour
Business Practice (BSP) – 1 hour
Workers' Compensation (FWC) – 1 hour
Workplace Safety (WPS) – 1 hour
Laws & Rules (LAWS) – 1 hour
Wind Mitigation (WIND) – 1 hour * only required for the following license types: CG, CB, CR, CC & SCC
General (GEN) – 8 hours
As a Florida Certified Contractor, the licensing board requires that you fulfill a specific number of course hours on certain topics.

False Alarm Prevention (FAP) – 2 hours * only required if you are engaged in alarm system contracting
