About the Course: 

In this 1-hour interactive online courses, standards of ethical conduct are examined in a variety of situations amply illustrated with case studies and discussion from the NSPE Board of Review. The engineer will focus on ethical issues in contemporary professional practice by looking at a sampling of cases. Using the facts of the case and the discussion provided by the NSPE Board of Review, the engineer will have an opportunity to evaluate real world circumstances faced by others in the profession.

This course looks at the following situations:
  • Copyright - Duty to Report Violation of Copyright Agreement
  • Conflict of Interest - Utility Audits for City
  • Reference - Quid Pro Quo
  • Associating with a Firm Not Authorized to Practice
