Idaho Engineer CE Requirements

Keeping your engineering license often means fulfilling continuing education requirements and staying up to speed on new technologies and developments. Nearly forty U.S. states require continuing education for engineers to renew licenses.

License Renewal Information for Idaho Engineers

30 PDH (Professional Development Hour) every two years.  Renewal occurs on the last day of the month based on the licensee's date of birth.

Licensees born in an even year will renew on the last day of their birth month in even numbered years.

Licensees born in an odd year will renew on the last day of their birth month in odd numbered years.

Idaho PE PDH Approval

The Board does not pre-approve continuing education courses. It is the licensee's responsibility to verify that the course material meets their specific scope of practice and criteria required by the Board.
