Biography
JC Alonzo is an environmental sustainability consultant, leader, and educator. He is an accredited Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) and officially approved to provide Institute for Sustainability Infrastructure (ISI) ENV SP workshops, which preps attendees to take the ENV SP accreditation test. JC serves as a member of APWA’s Center for Sustainability Leadership Team for 2013-2017, and on the Institute for Sustainability’s Professional Development Committee, 2012 to current. JC has chaired and led commissions and boards responsible for creating and implementing environmental policies and programs for waste, codes and development, trails, water, and green infrastructure. JC is experienced in creating and implementing environmental policy and programs, including the use of Envision in such programs, developing sustainability plans, and executive strategy experience from over thirty (30) years in environmental and information technology industries. He has served as an adjunct sustainability professor, teaching courses on sustainability leadership and plan development. He is a certified Business Coach with Six Discipline®.
