Biography
Bradford Perkins, FAIA, RAIC, AICP, is the founder of Perkins Eastman Architects, a New York-based architectural, interior design, and planning firm with a national practice and branch offices in Pittsburgh, Stamford (Connecticut), Charlotte (North Carolina), Chicago, San Francisco, and Toronto (Canada). His firm's designs of senior living and care facilities, as well as other building types, have received many awards for design excellence and have been widely published.
He is the co-author of the book Building Type Basics for Senior Living, the basis of an online course series featured on RedVector.com.
His co-authors include:
J. David Hoglund, FAIA is a senior principal and director of Perkins Eastman, and head of the firm's Pittsburgh office.
Douglas King, AIA, AICP, is a senior principal and director in Perkins Eastman's New York office.
Eric Cohen, AIA, is a senior associate at Perkins Eastman.
Stephen A. Kliment, FAIA (Series Founder and Editor), is an architectural journalist and an adjunct professor at the City College of New York. He was chief editor of Architectural Record from 1990 to 1996.
