Energy Modeling Outcomes and Design Courses

Michael is noted for the ability to manage multiple functions, identify critical issues, and implement cost-effective solutions. A prime example of this is the Village Lindo Paseo (now Suites on Paseo), a set of three 4-story dormitories in San Diego, California that achieved LEED Silver while saving over $1 million in up-front costs, and $70,000 in annual operational costs. Michael was responsible for creating full building energy simulations, conducting life cycle cost, tariff, and clean generation impact analyses. He was then retained by the project owners to provide consulting support through construction, commissioning and operations phases of project.
