This is a live, encore presentation of a webinar that was originally offered on 05/22/2019. Attendees of the previously offered presentation, RV-W052219, will not receive CEU for attending the 06/18/2019 presentation.
One of the common tools in the development of infrastructure projects is the build-up of earthen embankments either to flatten construction pads or to change the topography of the land to fit the new development and infrastructure scheme. And one common problem of these foundation earthen fills is deformation, both vertical and lateral. Professionals within the A/E/C industry need to be capable of designing foundation elements to accommodate or prevent deformation, as well as being able to select remediation alternatives for deformed soils. In this course, engineers, architects, planners, contractors and design professionals will learn the most common geotechnical alternatives for preventing and restoring the deformation of soils and embankments.
Note: This is a live webinar delivered via WebEx. Session instructions will be emailed to you 24-48 hours prior to the webinar and the morning of the webinar.
