We focus on assessment and testing strategies as well as reporting and auditing. We also discuss design assessment strategies for those organizations.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
  • apply concepts found in the CISSP objectives 6.1, 6.4, and 6.5
  • will have a better understanding of assessment and testing strategies for security
  • describe design and validation assessment and testing strategies
  • analyze and report on test outputs as well as manual and automated analysis test reports
  • explain the difference between conducting an internal audit versus conducting a third-party audit
  • list the auditing tools available for the different kinds of audits that may need to be performed
