In this course we will look at what it takes to build a local area network when it comes to all the physical connections that are required. The topics that will be covered include the basics of physically installing a local area network, connecting the LAN to the wide area network and discuss responsibilities in that area, and the best practices to follow if you find yourself building LANs from scratch. This course will be paired with demos that will show real world examples of many of the topics that will be discussed in this course. This course is designed to prepare the student for the Network+ certification exam by CompTIA.
