Tooling Setup and Maintenance

This course provides guidance on tooling setup and maintenance for learners who already have a foundation in machining or CNC operation. It explains the relationship between tooling precision and process stability, emphasizing the habits and procedures that keep tools cutting efficiently and safely. Learners will examine the mechanics of setup, the patterns of tool wear, the principles of predictive maintenance, and the role of chip management and contamination control in sustaining accuracy and extending tool life.​
