License Renewal Information for Louisiana Engineers

Licenses expiring in 2017 and 2018

30 Professional Development Hour (PDH). (1 PDH = 1 contact hour)

- 1 PDH must be in professional ethics

- 8 PDH must be in Codes (Life Safety Code, Building Codes and/or Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines
by every professional engineer licensee who designs buildings and/or building systems)

- License renewal occurs March 31 and September 30 biennially based upon the year of initial licensure.

NOTE: Licenses expiring in March 31st and September 30th in 2017 must complete an additional 15 PDHs by the end of 2017 for their renewal period ending in 2019.
Same applies to licenses expiring in March 31st and September 30th in 2018 for their renewal period ending in 2020.

Louisiana PE PDH Approval

The courses for Louisiana Engineers offered by RedVector have been reviewed to meet technical requirements for a Professional Engineer.
