This interactive online course outlines the new wind loss mitigation retrofits required as of October 2007. The Florida Building Code now requires the strengthening of existing homes during the renovation process, so that they perform better in high wind events. This course will familiarize you with the five specific areas that are vulnerable, while focusing on gable end bracing, the most complicated yet impactful upgrade to the structural integrity of the home.
