- Define and explain a split estate and the impact it has on shale gas production
- Describe and identify horizontal drilling and its elements
- Select the techniques and processes that can be implemented to reduce shale gas production impacts on the environment
- Describe a casing and cementing program
- Identify the alternatives for drilling fluids in urban settings
- Explain and identify hydraulic fracturing, design, and process
- Summarize the consideration for air quality, water management and treatment associated with shale gas production
