This 3-hour interactive online course is the third in a series to cover the changes to the 2008 edition of the National Electrical Code® created by the NFPA®. This course series provides an accurate, reliable, and authoritative account of the hundreds of significant revisions in the 2008 Code.  This course specifically looks at changes to Article 300 through Article 392, covering changes to the scope and definitions, including revisions to circuits, conductors, dwelling units, receptacle outlets, grounded systems and surge protective devices.
Course Objectives
At the end of this program, you will be able to:
  • Recognize the scope and arrangement of the 2008 National Electrical Code thus making it easier to find information needed
  • Describe changes made to those definitions in the 2008 Code from 2005
  • Apply changes to the 2008 National Electrical Code to existing work procedures
  • Understand the structure of the course to better provide the best, most complete information and greatest benefit for the student
