This 1-hour interactive online course reviews standards for Arkansas boundary surveys and plats. The standards relate to the practice of surveying and mapping. They were adopted to ensure a minimum degree of accuracy, completeness, and quality in order to assure adequate and defensible real property boundary locations, and other pertinent information provided by surveyors and mappers. Some of the topics covered include applicable definitions, determination of area and property type, closure ratio, research and investigation, field work, and publication of work. This course includes a multiple choice quiz at the end of each section.
