Low-impact development (LID) is a green infrastructure approach that emphasizes conservation and use of on-site natural features for stormwater management and water quality protection. The approach can also enhance community character, improve aesthetics, and help create a strong eco-friendly vision for a community. This workshops looks at the basics that are required to make LID successful, and will present numerous case studies for how LID has been implemented.

Compare the maintenance requirements for LID to that of traditional stormwater management techniques to ensure a healthy natural environment.
