Corrugated steel pipe (CSP) has been a mainstay of sewer and culvert designs for well over 100 years and shows no signs of fading in popularity. So the question isn’t really whether to use it, but how best to use it for optimal performance in a variety of soils and environmental settings.  This 1-hour interactive online course addresses the factors that affect the durability of CSP and the methods that have been devised for extending its service life. It's a must-read for anyone involved in the design or storm sewers or culverts.
Course Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Discuss the factors that most affect the durability of Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP)
  • List what coatings are used to increase the durability of CSP
  • Explain the ideal service life of a well designed storm sewer system
  • Describe how to increase durability and extend the service life of storm sewer systems
