Construction Suicide Prevention for Employees: Recognizing the Signs & Taking Action

This training addresses the mental health crisis in construction, where workers face suicide rates twice that of the general population. Participants will learn to identify warning signs and risk factors specific to construction workers, understand industry-specific challenges, and develop practical skills for supporting colleagues in distress using the TASC method for crisis intervention.

 

The course emphasizes creating a supportive workplace culture where mental health conversations are normalized and reinforces that "It's OK to not be OK." Through real industry stories and practical guidance, employees will be equipped to recognize when colleagues need support, conduct caring conversations, and connect coworkers to professional resources when necessary.
