My people skills are lousy
By on Dec, 10, 2021
My people skills are lousy. I have had problems with other people at previous jobs as a result. Managers I had would speak to me about it, or simply take disciplinary action against me; but none of them ever offered me advice, or ways on how to improve my skills with people. Taking a course like this helps me immensely. I'm so glad that I can have this opportunity. It really tells me that CBRE cares about my own success and well-being, and that of my family too.

This course was very good
By (Engineer) on Sep, 26, 2021
This course was very good. The link to Anthony's webpage and content needs to be updated, it is out of date. Also, please add a section in your courses on communication & unconscious / affinity bias and inclusive listening & communicating ... as a woman in this industry for 26 years, there are times when the same skills used by men in the same position / role are not as effective. This is a very "touchy" area, and does need to be addressed, both for the "listener" (mostly men) and the speaker, irrespective of the speaker's physical presentation.

I thought that the content was very strong and thorough, but it sometimes got hard to remember because there was only a picture of the person speaking and no designs

I thought that the content was very strong and thorough, but it sometimes got hard to remember because there was only a picture of the person speaking and no designs. Anthony explained things in a way that the listeners could understand easily and provided story examples, which helped the content to stay in your head. If there were pictures/designs/charts/graphics in this video to go along with the content, it would be a lot easier to remember.

The editing in the videos is choppy
By on Jul, 29, 2021
The editing in the videos is choppy. A training on communication and present effectively would be more valuable as an in-person training. For an hour course, it was fine, but I personally learned more from reading Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People" and my public speaking course in college.
