Green Infrastructure is increasing in popularity as cities explore strategies for increasing sustainability, enhancing community character, reducing our carbon footprint, and addressing climate change. Once they're installed, these Green Infrastructure elements have to be maintained to insure the health and welfare of a community and achieve economically and environmentally sustainable practices. This webinar will provide approaches and techniques for maintaining Green Infrastructures.

  • Identify the strengths and weaknesses of different maintenance approaches in Green Infrastructure by documenting measurable results from implemented projects and developments. 
  • Identify opportunities for and standard characteristics of maintenance approaches for Green Infrastructure that promote sustainable and safe environments such as bioswales, green roofs, and green roadways.
