Ah, the freedom of being your own boss-no more office politics, taking an unscheduled day off when the powder's good or the surf's up, possibly even working at home. These are a few of the reasons why many of us have dreamed for years of starting our own consulting companies. Is it just a wishful dream or can it become reality? In other words, can you beat the odds and be one of the few companies still viable after several years?

This 2-hour interactive online course presents strategies for generating revenue for your new consulting business and for making a profit. This course is designed for professionals who:

The author is owner of Apex Engineering, PLLC, a small engineering consulting firm specializing in industrial wastewater treatment evaluation, testing and design.
