Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the student will better understand several of the CompTIA Server+ objectives: explain troubleshooting theory and methodologies; given a scenario, effectively troubleshoot hardware problems, selecting the appropriate tools and methods; given a scenario, effectively troubleshoot software problems, selecting the appropriate tools and methods; given a scenario, effectively diagnosed network problems, selecting the appropriate tools and methods; given a scenario, effectively troubleshoot storage problems, selecting the appropriate tool and methods; and, given a scenario, effectively diagnosed security issues, selecting the appropriate tools and methods. The student will know how to organize and structure the troubleshooting process and will be familiar with the many issues that can cause problems with the hardware, software, and network. Also, the student will be able to prevent and address security issues with which he/she may be confronted.
