This course is designed to familiarize participants with basic concepts associated with troubleshooting problems in process systems. After completing this course, participants should be able to follow a logical, systematic troubleshooting procedure to identify and correct process problems.
Course Objectives
Exercise 1: Tank Level
  • Describe how troubleshooting techniques can be used to find and correct a problem in a process system. The system in this example transfers liquid from a storage tank to a process feed tank. Exercise 2: Fluid Transfer
  • Describe how troubleshooting techniques can be used to find and correct a problem in a process system. The system used in this example transfers feed material to a distillation process. Exercise 3: Process Column
