With the extreme weather events that have taken so many lives this past decade,  you can offer your customers a higher level of protection and peace of mind by adding a SAFE ROOM.  Whether you are building a new home, or remodeling an existing home, this 1-hour interactive online course will teach you the basics of safe room design and construction.  It focuses on CMU and wood frame shelter construction in new and retrofit applications.  The engineering and design guidelines are taken from the NSSA (National Storm Shelter Association), ICC 500 and FEMA 320, with research and testing from Texas Tech University.
