The State of Florida has passed laws pertaining to the Minimum Technical Standards (MTS) for surveyors and mappers to follow in their work. This 6-hour online course covers Chapter 61G17-06,  including a discussion of these standards, and the recent changes through October 2006.  This course is intended to provide one of the two required portions of the continuing education requirements (CEU''s) for Florida Land Surveyors.
Objectives
Course Objectives
The Florida Statutes Chapter 61G17-6, covering the Minimum Technical Standards, has been ammended for 2006. All of the revisions to the code (through 10-2006) will be reviewed in this course. Upon completion of this course, the Surveyor and Mapper will be better able to perform their job with confidence that the standards guiding their work are up to date.
