Falling at work may not sound very dangerous, but falls are a leading cause of workplace injuries. They also cause many workplace fatalities. Workplace slips, trips, and falls should be a concern for employers and employees alike. In addition to being a leading cause of injuries and lost time, they can cause temporary and permanent disabilities, pain, depression, and reduced quality of life for injured workers.

The good news is that slips, trips, and falls are often preventable. This course discusses common causes of workplace slips, trips, and falls; tips for walking on slippery surfaces, stairs, and ladders; hazard identification and reporting; and first aid steps for slip, trip, and fall injuries.
