This 6-hour online course examines Data Quality Assessment (DQA) which is a scientific and statistical process used to evaluate data in order to determine if they are of the right type, quality and quantity to be used in a specific task. If you are a project manager, risk assessor, planner, or any type of professional who needs to determine whether the type, quantity, and quality of data you are working with are sufficient to support your decisions, you are the right person to take this course. You do not need to be an expert in statistics to take this course as the statistical terms are kept to a minimum.

Nowadays, any professional in any type of organization is exposed to and deals with an enormous amount of data related to his/her work. The quality of these data may reflect on the success or failure of any business. For this reason, many professionals may ask the following questions:

  • Do you have concerns about the validity and completeness of your organization''s data?
  • Are you sure how "good" or "bad" the data are that you are working with? Do you just guess they are "good"?
  • Are you able to make important decisions based on these data?
  • Do these data support your decision? Are you sure or do you just "think" you are sure.

There is a test included at the end of this course. The material in this course is presented in a series of Word documents, and you must have Word to be able to successfully complete this course.
