This 2-hour online course covers the basics of surveying and basic principles used in land surveying, establishment of property lines, positioning of buildings, roads, pipelines, etc. Surveying terminology as well as routine calculations and techniques for making field notes are covered in this course. This course is primarily for students who are not acquainted with surveying and is intended to provide the student with an awareness of surveying fundamentals.
Completing this course will provide the basics of surveying concepts. You will become acquainted with basic surveying terminology and calculations involved in distance measurements, leveling circuits, and horizontal curves.
