Construction Administration: MEP Commercial Buildings

This course introduces Construction Administration (CA) as the process of managing, reviewing, and enforcing construction contracts from project initiation through closeout and commissioning. Participants will explore how Construction Administrators oversee construction to ensure alignment with drawings, specifications, and design intent while maintaining quality standards. The course also covers coordinating scope changes, resolving field issues, and managing impacts to cost and schedule. By the end, participants will be able to identify key CA roles and MEP-related responsibilities, apply structured approaches for project and design verification, and recognize emerging technologies shaping modern construction administration.
