This 6-hour online course reviews the Army Corps of Engineers
Engineering and Design - Groundwater Hydrology Manual. It provides guidance to engineers who are responsible for, or simply interested in, groundwater-related projects. This basic course covers such topics as subsurface distribution, groundwater forces, confined/unconfined aquifers, hydraulic conductivity, storage, transmissivity, general flow equations, flow nets, pumping wells, porosity, specific yield, groundwater studies, field investigation methods, computer modeling, and surface water/ground water interactions.
This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end of each section.
