Feng Shui specialist Karen Ann Tompkins works with clients and students to change and enrich their lives by working with design, decorating and placement in homes and businesses. For over 10 years she has practiced and taught the powerful and ancient art of Feng Shui. She has studied with Feng Shui Masters worldwide: Grand Mster Yap Cheng Hai - Malaysia, Raymond Lo - Hong Kong, Peter Leung - Canada, Roger Green and Gayle Atherton - Australia, as well as studies with numerous U.S. teachers. She is knowledgeable in every Feng Shui School, and has practiced Black Hat, Western, Classical, and Mastery trained traditional Feng Shui. Her training and practice incorporates - land form, chi distribution, Bauga Life Aspirations, five elements, Eight Mansions - Ba Zai, Flying Star - San Yuan, Water Dragon formulas, influences of time, etc.
A passionate, gifted, provocative and popular teacher-lecturer, Karen Ann spent 15 years as a high school English teacher and always incorporates an educational approach to her craft. She skillfully bridges the conceptual, practical, historical and cultural aspects of this system, making it viable, practical and personal. She dispels some of the prevalent myths and misconceptions about Feng Shui, why we should care about this Eastern practice, and how to make life changes using Feng Shui. She lectures nationwide for corporations, universities, and conventions. She is frequently featured on television and radio, along with numerous newspapers, magazines and other print media.
Her clients range from major corporations to casinos. She advises on all levels of planning, from pre-construction to decor and placement in existing properties. Since the Feng Shui of a property determines the well being of the inhabitants, she considers Feng Shui the blue print for all other design disciplines.
