This 1-hour online interactive course provides guidelines that are essential to the design of mechanical systems for heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC).
We begin by taking a look at the fundamental areas to consider at the beginning of an HVAC design process. Some of these include: cooling and heating calculations, indoor and outdoor design conditions, ventilation, and duct design.
As the course continues, several different cooling and heating systems, and the conditions under which each system should be used, are discussed. We then explore the design conditions for a number of specific facilities, such as administrative areas, computer and electronic areas, equipment rooms, living quarters, and storage facilities.
The course wraps up by covering the requirements and usage criteria for various types of HVAC equipment.
